MX Graphics Fitment Guide

Step 1: Preparation

Fail to prepare and you will prepare to fail. The first step in fitting your new kit is assembling all of the relevant tools such as: Heat gun/hairdryer, clean microfiber cloth and any alcoholic cleaner.

Heat your existing graphics kit and remove. The more patient you are, the easier the cleaning process will be.

 

Step 2: Cleaning

Remove all remaining glue residue from plastics using alcoholic cleaner and microfibre cloth. Some portions may require you to head the glue residue, repeat process until graphics are completely clean and free of any dirt, glue or other debris.

 

Step 3: Application

Select a plastic that you wish to begin with. Remove the paper backing exposing half of the adhesive. Align the graphics with the adjacent linings in the plastics. Slowly press down on the edge of the exposed graphic onto the plastic and ease your way inwards in a uniform pattern, removing the possibility of any bubbles. When the section is installed, lightly heat the edges to ensure no lifting. Repeat with all sections of the kit.

 

Step 4: Finishing Touches

Gently heat the graphics and give them a wipe down with a soft and clean microfibre cloth.
